The upside of more CO2 in the air?

NY Times:

Springing Forward, and Its Consequences

The biologist Richard Primack, left, has found that with rising temperatures and carbon dioxide changing seasonal timetables, many plants are flowering earlier and longer.
Their models showing that the temperature will rise dramatically with increased CO2 have been shown to be invalid.  Now we find that plants seem to be producing more and earlier and that does not sound bad either.  It certainly does not sound like the kind of dire consequences that many have been predicting.
