If you do not think someone willing to die to protect you is special, you are an ingrate

Kelly, in Defending Trump Call, Holds Up Military as an Elite Class

To some, John F. Kelly, President Trump’s chief of staff, expanded an ever-growing gulf between the all-volunteer military and the public it serves.
Are liberals now not even willing to thank someone in the military for their service?  If so it is not the military that is the problem.  They are in fact, selfless servants of the country.

They are however deserving of respect for that service.  Has the antiwar left become so unpatriotic that they don't respect those who are keeping them safe?  What Kelly was talking about is when one of the troops pays the ultimate price for his service, Congresswoman Wilson should not sully that service by criticizing the President who is trying to console the family.  When people volunteer to go in harm's way to protect the country those people are special.  They are doing something that most citizens are not going to do.  Respect that.
