Bogus claims of racism have cheapened the term

NY Times:

Congresswoman Wilson made the ludicrous claim that being called an "empty barrel" was racist.  While it was certainly not a term of endearment it had zero to do with race.  The term is traced back to Plato who used it to describe loud mouth critics.  Wilson would certainly fit that definition whatever her race.

It is silly claims like these that lead to people to think that Democrats are crying wolf on racism while attacking critics of their agenda as "white nationalist" which is a form of racism in and of itself.  It is meant to demean and discredit those who oppose their liberal agenda.  Some defenders of Wilson also made bogus claims that because Gen. Kelly was a white man from a white neighborhood in Boston that he was racist.  This is another example of anti-white racism by liberals.

I think Gen Kelly would have said the same thing about a white male who took the same reprehensible position that congresswoman Wilson took.  I know that because I would have too.  Her conduct was deplorable.  To twist the President's words in a condolence call to the family of a Green Beret should not be excused by her or the media.

There seems to be a concerted effort by Democrats who fear that Trump's economic program is lifting blacks from dependency with the best jobs market in 44 years will lead to less support for Democrats.  Because of that, they are trying to pretend there is a serious threat from a handful of "white nationalist."  Those who hold the white nationalist view have no serious following.  To suggest that that term describes Trump supporters is racist and insulting 60 million voters who don't like the evils of liberalism that have made their circumstances poorer.
