Native Americans not so native

NY Times:
24,000-Year-Old Body Is Kin to Both Europeans and American Indians
The genome of a boy in Siberia indicates that Europeans reached farther east across Eurasia than previously assumed, and that Native Americans may be descended from a mix of Western Europeans and East Asians.
I have always found the term "native American" was misleading since we know that they came here from somewhere else too, they just happened to get here before the Europeans who immigrated from across the Atlantic.
