Left still pushing group guilt in Dallas for act of deranged communist

NY Times:

50 Years Later, a Changed Dallas Grapples With Its Darkest Day
After Kennedy was shot liberals immediately started blaming it on conservatives despite the obvious evidence to the contrary.  50 years later headlines like this one still try to leave that impression despite an attempt to suggest the city has "changed."  I think the Johnson administration feared that the truth might lead to a confrontation with the Cubans or the Russians.  They also saw an opportunity to suppress the conservative movement that was very strong in Dallas and elsewhere in flyover country.  And that is what they did.  It was rand dishonesty and it worked for awhile.

John Miller has more on the left's attempt to blame conservatives.
