Obamacare not getting enough young in California

LA Times:

California enrolls 80,000 in health plans; older people lead the wayThe prized demographic of 18- to 34-year-olds accounted for 23% of October sign-ups.
This means they are getting more of the old and sick which suggest they are on route to a death spiral if they continue with this trend.  California has signed up more than other states, but they are not getting enough suckers.  Oregon exchange has been more dysfunctional than the national operation and a few days ago they had signed up no one.  On the national level HHS has not released the demographics on who is signing up.  They either do not know or they don't want to reveal how bad it is.
