The top candidates to be Trump's Vice-President nominee

Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) expressed that he would feel a sense of disappointment if he isn’t chosen to be former President Trump’s vice president.

In a recent interview at his home with Fox News, part of a series featuring potential vice presidential candidates, Vance was asked about his reaction if not selected for the role.

“You know, I’m human, right?” he replied. “So when you know this thing is a possibility, if it doesn’t happen, there is certainly going to be a little bit of disappointment. But I think the bigger thing is it’s such a cool thing to get to do the job that I do.”

Vance is considered a leading contender for the VP role, as well as Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND) and Sen. Rick Scott (R-SC).

As of this week, Predict It, a betting website, ranks Vance as the second most likely candidate, behind Burgum, to be Trump’s next running mate.

I think any of these three would do a good job.  Burgum has been impressive of late.  He is articulate and smart.  I think his one downside is that the state he is from has a limited number of voters.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
