Deadly shooting at Uvalde, Texas school

 Washington Examiner:

Fifteen people are dead, 14 of them children, after a shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Tuesday.

The gunman and one teacher were killed, Abbott added during a press conference. The governor identified the suspected shooter as Salvador Romas, an 18-year-old high school student from Uvalde, and said it is believed he shot his grandmother before driving to Robb Elementary School, got out of the car, and opened fire.

The shooter had a handgun and possibly a rifle, Abbott also noted. A motive remains unknown at this time.

There is more.

A Custom and Border Protection agent was also shot in the head and is currently hospitalized.

Uvalde is between San Antonio and the Rio Grande.  After killing his grandmother the shooter went to the school and opened fire.  So far there has been no explanation of his motive.
