Michigan has a chance to elect an impressive man as senator in 2018

NY Times:

Can John James Crack Michigan’s ‘Blue Wall’?

Mr. James, 37, is a West Point graduate who spent eight years in the Army. He is the president of his family-run business. And he wants to become a senator.
Elsewhere the Times headline also includes the fact that James is black.  He has been endorsed by President Trump and by a large number of Republicans.  I hope he wins.  Defeating the Democrat incumbent would be a service to the state and the country.
