US sanctions Russians believed to be responsible for cyber attacks on energy companies

Daily Mail:

The sanctions, which were imposed because of cyberattacks, were placed on five Russian firms and three of their executives

The Trump administration on Monday slapped sanctions on several Russian companies and businessmen for engaging in cyberattacks.
The three men and five companies are alleged to have engaged in cyber attacks and assisted Russia's military and intelligence services with other malicious activities.  I suspect they were doing planning for disruption of the flow of energy in the US in the event of hostilities between the US and Russia.
