Court approves all but one Texas district in gerrymander challenge

Washington Post:
Supreme Court largely upholds maps in Texas case on racial gerrymandering

A lower court ruled last summer that the Texas congressional and legislative districts discriminated against black and Hispanic voters. But justices said the panel was wrong in how it considered the challenges.
The Democrats used to gerrymander Texas Congressional seats to the point that even though the Democrats were not winning statewide races they had a majority of the House seats.  That is no longer the case.  Democrats are not losing because of race in Texas.  In fact, there are many Hispanic and Black Republicans who have been elected.   Democrats in Texas real burden is having to defend the evils of liberalism.
