More on the adventures of Hunter Biden

 Daily Mail:

EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden was asked to use his FBI contacts to help his Chinese business partner arrested for bribery and money laundering - as whistleblower claims president's son had 'mole' agent who tipped them off to investigation

...

The news comes as a whistleblower claims Hunter used a top former or current FBI official code-named 'One Eye' to funnel secret bureau information to his Chinese business partners.

Patrick Ho – convicted of bribery and money laundering in 2018 – was secretary general of CEFC, the Chinese oil giant Hunter partnered with, and which sent the Biden family more than $5million.

The first son described Ho as the 'f***ing spy chief of China' in a May 2018 recorded conversation on his abandoned laptop, and court documents show Ho was under surveillance by federal law enforcement in an espionage-related investigation.

But that didn't stop Hunter taking a $1million wire payment to represent Ho as his attorney before he was arrested in November 2017, or agreeing to speak to FBI agents to glean information on the case against his Chinese Communist Party-connected client.

...

Hunter's apparent contact with the FBI over the case has taken on a new significance, following allegations that he was involved in a scheme to buy secret bureau information for his Chinese colleagues.

Israeli energy expert Dr. Gal Luft, who has hosted several conferences with CEFC's nonprofit arm, says that Hunter had an FBI mole with the code name 'One-Eye', who tipped off CEFC executives that they were under investigation.

...

'One-Eye' told Ye about a sealed indictment naming 'an Asian, an African, and a Jewish guy,' Henoch told the Post.

Ye then fled to China, leaving behind his mother, wife, two children and their nanny at his $50million penthouse at 15 Central Park West.

Before he left the US, Ye hired Hunter as his lawyer, the First Son told the New Yorker in a 2019 interview.

Ye reportedly offered Hunter $1million to be his 'private counsel' – though the only $1million payment that appears on Hunter's accounts around that time is for his representation of Ho.

The CEFC deputy was described as 'the patsy' and 'the fall guy' by Henoch.

Ye told Ho that he would be safe returning to the US, despite confessing to Hunter in the summer of 2017 that he was worried about being under federal investigation, according to a July 2019 New Yorker interview with Hunter.

Ho was arrested as soon as he landed at JFK in November that year.

In February 2018, Ye was also arrested by Chinese authorities on unspecified corruption charges, and has not been seen since.

Hunter Biden's business model is looking more suspect.
