Sinema's opposition shows that concern over Washington’s planned appointment isn’t strictly a partisan matter. Washington’s withdrawal is just the latest in a string of Biden nominees that have made headlines for not being qualified for the jobs Biden wanted them to take.

In February, Biden’s nominee for United States District Judge for the Southern District of California, Marian F. Gaston, refused to answer if she supports maintaining the Sex Offender Registry.

In March, Washington also couldn’t answer a single answer about certain aviation topics during a hearing before the Senate Commerce Committee.

Biden apparently does not have a staff capable of vetting potential nominees leading to embarrassing rejections by Congress.  Ted Cruz responded to this nomination with this quote,  “With all respect, Mr. Washington, it gives no comfort to the flying public that their pilot might be a transgendered witch but doesn’t actually know how to prevent the plane from crashing into the ground and killing them. I believe your record is woefully lacking,”

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ... Bin Laden's concern about Zarqawi's remains
