Biden's record of self-aggrandizement
...
Remember when:
- Biden lied about how “his plane was fired upon” while he was flying in the Balkans, and below “bombed-out homes with snipers inside could be seen”?
- During a speech he told the audience he knew “where Al Qaida lives” because it was “the area where my helicopter was forced down with a three-star general and three senators at 10,500 feet in the middle of those mountains,” but failed to mention the flight had to land due to snow and there were no terrorists around?
- He told mine workers that “I am a hard coal miner,” and another time said his ancestors were coal miners, when of course he wasn’t and they weren’t?
- Biden claimed to have marched with civil rights activists in the 1960s? Plagiarized a speech from Neil Kinnock, the leader of the British Labor Party? Said “I used to drive a tractor trailer”? Claimed to have three college degrees, was given an award as “the outstanding student in the political science department,” finished in the “top half” of his law class, gave up his starting position on the University of Delaware football so he could visit his first wife on weekends, and was shot at inside Baghdad’s Green Zone?
“If you’ve got valor,” says Vice, “Joe Biden will steal it.”
There is of course more, much more. The current occupant of the Oval Office is a career, serial fabulist. He lies not to connect to his audience, as his media apologists have tried to argue, but to serve his narcissism and to gain political advantage. Biden is pathological. It’s reasonable to believe he has a “mental disease,” and is a “psychopathic personality of some type.”
Biden’s long history of lies has gone largely uncovered by a media that quickly became fixated on Rep. George Santos and his prevarications. But that’s to be expected. With little exception, today’s media has no interest in the truth. Its primary objective is to help the Democratic Party establish permanent and unchallengeable political power.
I think he lies because he is just not that smart but wants people to think he is more than he actually is. It is hard for him to be humble because he thinks his exaggerations are real or he hopes his audience with think they are.
