What to do with Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act
I think it would be a mistake to completely do away with the section. It would only give the tech giants more of an excuse to edit commentary.
Instead of doing away with it, the US should say that editing in anyway commentary would make the companies liable for their editing or for their attempts to censor content. That should take away the incentive to censor while also making the tech companies more open to all content.
