The complete failure of the media 'debunkers'

 NY Times:

Trump’s Fraud Claims Died in Court, but the Myth of Stolen Elections Lives On

For years, Republicans have used the specter of cheating as a reason to impose barriers to ballot access. A definitive debunking of claims of wrongdoing in 2020 has not changed that message.

The claims never really got a hearing in court.  The courts dodged a decision on the merits in virtually every case.

To say that there was a "definitive debunking" is misleading.  There was not debunking of the merits of the claims.  The evidence that dead people actually voted has not been debunked.  The evidence that people double voted has not been debunked.  The evidence that blue state operatives illegally excluded Republican poll watchers has not been debunked.

What we have instead seen is a moral cowardice of the courts to even hear the cases.  It is absolutely clear that states like Pennsylvania unconstitutionally changed the deadline for counting votes.  It is not a barrier to legal voting to follow the constitutional requirements that the date for election returns is left solely to state legislatures.

The fact that Democrats in several states cheated to get Biden elected raises serious questions about his legitimacy that should haunt him and them.

One of the reasons there are legal requirements for voting is to stop cheating.  These requirements are not barriers to legal votes.
