Kenosha man shot resisting arrest had a history of violence

US24 News:
...
Jacob Blake, the man shot by police in Kenosha, Wisc., has a long history of violent crimes, domestic violence, assaulting officers and resisting arrest.

There had also been a warrant for Blake’s arrest issued on 7/7/2020 (see below) for misdemeanor criminal trespass to a dwelling with domestic abuse as a modifier; felony third-degree sexual assault with domestic abuse as a modifier; and misdemeanor disorderly conduct with domestic abuse as a modifier.
...

He also has numerous past charges for gun crimes, police assault, domestic abuse and even a sex crime. One arrest from Racine County Eye is detailed below where he resisted officers:

Here is the full text of the report:

Racine police say K9 Dozer had to help officers take a man into custody when the man refused to go quietly into custody after he pulled a gun at a local bar.

Jacob Blake, 24, of Racine, was charged Monday in Racine County Circuit Court with one felony count of resisting arrest, causing a soft tissue injury to a police officer, and one misdeameanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct. If convicted, he will face up to 8-1/2 years in prison and/or up to $50,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, Blake and two women were at the Brass Monkey Tavern, 1436 Junction Avenue, Saturday, when Blake got into an argument with another patron and pulled a black handgun. Glake pointed the gun at another man, and the magazine fell to the floor. the bartender told Blake to leave, and he did but then pointed the gun through the window at patrons inside the bar before walking South on Junction Avenue.

So last night in Kenosha the police were called about a domestic violence situation and arrived to find Jacob Blake — who had an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic violence — who was ignoring commands from the police and attempting to leave with young kids in the car.

As he reached into his car, he was shot seven times (see video below). Were the police trying to protect Jacob Blake’s victim and the children from a known serial domestic abuser and violent felon? Don’t those black lives matter too?

How many times have we seen perps gets guns from cars and shoot police? Many times, sadly some of those with fatal results to officers....
The absolute best way to avoid being shot by the police is not to resist arrest and to be compliant with the officer's demands.  If you are innocent have a lawyer appointed to deal with the arrest. The BLM response to this guy's demise is also criminal Arson looting and attacks on others are criminal offenses.  At least the Wisconsin Governor called out the National Guard to deal with the criminal insurrection.  The victims of the looting and the arson attacks should consider bringing litigation against BLM which has received millions in donations from US corporations.
