A Twist of Faith in Brutal Captivity

After some of James Foley’s fellow Roman Catholics portrayed him as a symbol of faith under brutal conditions, the disclosure that he had converted to Islam in captivity has stirred debate.
Involuntary conversions have long been used by Islam adherents.  They are a sign of the lack of appeal of the religion and in the case of Foley show that the convert or death option is a fraud.
