Pelosi caught lying about Biden's border crisis

 Fox News:

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was fact-checked on Wednesday by The Washington Post for claiming that fewer migrants came into the U.S. under President Biden than under President-elect Trump's first term.

"I don’t think we were clear enough by saying fewer people came in under President Joe Biden than came under Donald Trump," Pelosi told The New York Times during a recent interview. "It’s clarity of the message, and if that’s what [Sen.] Bernie’s [Sanders] talking about, and that’s what [Sen.] Joe Manchin’s talking about, we weren’t clear in our message as to what things are, then I agree with that."

The Washington Post published a fact-check on the claim on Wednesday, and noted that it was "documented fact" that "at least four times as many migrants entered the United States under Biden than under Trump."

The outlet reported that Pelosi's claim "veers even more off course" when they dig deeper into the numbers and said the former House speaker earned "Four Pinocchio's."

Biden deliberately reversed Trump's border policies that had been effective at reducing illegal immigration.  I suspect he did it because the Democrats thought they could turn the illegals into voters despite the opposition of a majority of American citizens.  The fact that Democrats like Pelosi lied about the policy is evidence that they knew most Americans opposed their open-border approach to immigration.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
