I have had several Jewish friends from Grade School through law school.  I worked with Jewish lawyers often when I was practicing. I found them both competent and easy to work with.  I did not see that kind of discrimination at the University of Texas.  They did have their own fraternity.  Apparently, some fraternities did not include them.  I was too busy carrying a heavy load of classes to graduate early to waste time with the fraternity scene.  I was in a legal fraternity, but it was more of an honorary situation than anything else.
