NY Times not covering Biden's tanking poll numbers?

Joe Biden’s tanking poll numbers are no secret, but the New York Times seems to be suffering from ostrich syndrome. According to a report from Fox News, the Times‘ live page cataloging Biden’s approval numbers hasn’t been updated since mid-May—when the Times highlighted an Associated Press/NORC poll showing Biden with a 63 percent approval rating.

Currently, Joe Biden’s approval ratings are underwater in most polls, and his his average approval ratings are underwater at RealClearPolitics and FiveThirtyEight. A recent Economist/YouGov Poll even had him below 40 percent approval.

Fox News notes that prior to the page becoming dormant, “the Times would regularly update its page with eight posts in March and six in April. The polls cited went beyond Biden’s approval rating, invoking support for voting rights, the COVID vaccine and whether or not then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign amid his scandals.”

Other outlets seem to be getting lax in how they cover this administration as well. “The Los Angeles Times announced in January its ‘Covering Kamala Harris’ page meant to be ‘the most comprehensive and authoritative news source as we chronicle Harris’ first year.’ However, the Times’ Instagram account dedicated to the VP has not been updated since May 28, less than two weeks before her now-infamous interview with NBC’s Lester Holt where she was grilled about not visiting the U.S. southern border.”

Bad news for Democrats is not of interest to the liberal outlets.  I am sure that if Trump's numbers were in the tank they would be touting them on page one.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
