Half the country rejects the Democrats narrative about Jan. 6 riots

In a shock survey likely to draw even more attention to this weekend’s “Justice for J6” rally, nearly half of voters believe those charged in the Capitol riots are political prisoners.

According to the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, 49% said that those jailed for violence and other charges are being held as “political prisoners.” Some 30% “strongly” agree.

Just 42% disagree, said the survey.

Notably, 45% of Democrats agree that the more than 500 arrested are political prisoners.

Rasmussen also found more agree that the FBI’s Jan. 6 dragnet is targeting “patriots.”

Asked to agree or disagree with this statement: “The Department of Justice and the FBI have targeted, imprisoned, and persecuted non-violent American patriots,” 48% agreed, and 46% disagreed.

Most of the charges have been for trespassing and "parading around the Capitol Buiding."  That is hardly the way an insurrection would be described, yet that is the Democrat narrative.  What I see is a bogus attempt by Nancy Pelosi and others to vilify Trump and his supporters.  The FBI has also been heavy-handed in its treatment of the alleged rioters.  You also have the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs acting like these people were a real threat to democracy.  Both have also blamed the mythical "white supremacists."

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
