The problem with using lawfare to go after terrorist mass murderers surfaces in Europe now

NY Times:

With Finnish Arrests, Atrocity in Iraq Has Distant Fallout

Two men have been held in an ISIS massacre in Tikrit, based on a video, but even when authorities have such evidence, it’s a challenge to hold suspects accountable for atrocities.
What should be done with them is to pack them off to Gitmo where they would be held indefinitely and could be tried by a military commission.  The lawfare model failed under the Clinton administration and is failing under the Obama administration and will fail in Europe.  It si a war and these guys are pretty clearly unlawful enemy combatants.
