Media, Democrats disappointed by strong economic growth
Washington Post:
Trump, on the other hand, says the US will go a lot higher than the 4.1 percent growth.
Economic growth ramped up in 2nd quarter, but economists caution it could be a blipI think they hope it is a blip because good news on teh economy is bad news for Democrats who are desperate to find something to be critical of the Trump administration's economic program. The "tepid" 2.2 percent growth was probably better than the average growth under Obama and his high tax, high regulation model.
The quarter’s 4.1 percent annualized growth rate marks a jump from the first three months of 2018, when the economy grew at a tepid 2.2 percent, government economists said.
Trump, on the other hand, says the US will go a lot higher than the 4.1 percent growth.
