The Biden Harris divorce

 The Federalist Wire:

...

Vice President Kamala Harris is set to embark on the campaign trail for her presidential bid, but notably, she will be doing so without the physical presence of President Joe Biden by her side. According to three campaign officials who spoke to NBC News, there are no plans for Biden to join Harris on the road as Election Day approaches.

Instead, President Biden will focus on maintaining his duties behind the scenes. His role will include leveraging his long-standing political relationships, especially with labor leaders, while also hosting official White House events to highlight his administration’s achievements.

This approach is seen as strategically beneficial for Harris, as it gives her room to establish her own identity and vision as a candidate instead of being closely tied to the failing presidency of Joe Biden. However, Harris has struggled to distance herself from Biden.

“He’s out there doing the job as president, and she’s out there campaigning,” one campaign official shared with NBC News. “It’s clear voters want something new.”

A Democratic strategist further elaborated on the dynamic, saying, “Harris has to be establishing herself as a change agent, and it’s hard to do that with a sitting president at her side.”
...

Biden has not had a successful president on many fronts, but Harris would be even worse.  I don't think she is intelligent enough for the job of president.  The Democrat machine might be able to prop her up like they have Biden, but it is unlikely to be enough in the long run. The country was better off when Trump was president.
