Putin sees through Dems corrupt attempt to criminalize Trump

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday former President Trump's legal woes reveal the "rottenness of the American political system" and are politically motivated.

Why it matters: Tuesday marked the first time Putin has publicly commented on Trump's legal woes since the former president was indicted in Georgia in August.

What he's saying: "As for the prosecution of Trump, for us what is happening in today's conditions, in my opinion, is good because it shows the rottenness of the American political system, which cannot pretend to teach others democracy," Putin said at the Eastern Economic Forum, per AP.

  • "Everything that is happening with Trump is the persecution of a political rival for political reasons. That's what it is. And this is being done in front of the public of the United States and the whole world," Putin said.

Between the lines: Putin accused U.S. officials of "hammering into people's heads" that Russia served as an "existential adversary," per Reuters.

  • "I think there won't be principal changes in the U.S. foreign policy toward Russia, no matter who would be elected [the next] president," Putin said, according to Global News.
  • Putin said that although Trump was "blamed for connection to Russia," the then-U.S. president "imposed most of the sanctions on Russia" and called any special connection Trump might have to Russia "complete nonsense."

Putin is more honest about Trump than Democrats and many in the media.  Remember it was the Dems who used the Russian collusion hoax to attack Trump despite it being a total lie that Hillary Clinton made up because she was losing an election.  It should also not be forgotten that many in the media embraced this hoax and gave themselves awards for stories supporting the lies.  The Dems are also trying to criminalize Trump for political reasons just like they push the collusion hoax for political reasons.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
