Raheem Kassam revealed on Wednesday that under President Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo’s State Department had ordered the creation of a “Contingency and Crisis Response” office whose job would be avoiding “a future Benghazi-style situation for Americans overseas.”

But while Biden lied to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Wednesday that “We planned for every contingency,” behind the scenes Biden’s State Department had already “revoked the funding and the approval” for Trump’s response team, according to Kassam.

Biden didn’t plan for every contingency. He killed our ability to respond to the most likely contingency.

By closing Bagram Air Base first, Biden shut down America’s last and best military base and logistical center in Afghanistan, removing any ability to respond quickly and effectively. Closing Bagram first also sent a message to the Afghan national government and the army we spent 20 years building up: America is bugging out and you’re on your own.

Is it any wonder the Afghans folded so quickly to the Taliban?

Closing Bagram also gave the Taliban thousands and thousands of potential Western hostages. Ditching Trump’s plan for a Contingency and Crisis Response team meant that we didn’t even have the assets in place to get new assets in place.

 Joe is not that smart and it looks like the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs are also not that bright either.  They have shown their ass to the world.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
