School district caught telling kids not to tell parents about 'equity' survey

There was a time when we warned our children about adults who asked them to keep secrets. And with good reason. Little good can come from an adult imploring a child to keep something “just between us.” And yet that appears to have been exactly what happened in one Minnesota school district.

Recently, parents in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District took justifiable umbrage at an $80,000 “equity audit” conducted by the Equity Alliance of Minnesota. As part of the audit, students in the district were given a survey that they had no choice but to complete — even if they did not fully understand the questions. The survey included queries about their gender identity. The students were also told in no uncertain terms that discussing the contents of the survey with their parents was strictly verboten. Parents also had the chance speak their minds at the latest board meeting, and you can hear what they had to say here. Fast-forward to the 2:48 mark. That’s where it gets interesting.

"Equity" is a new liberal CRT word for avoiding merit and, instead, focusing on race.  You should note that liberals are not suggesting "equity" in athletic competition where blacks tend to excel.  They are not pushing it onto the NFL or the NBA.  Everything else is based on race instead of merit.  They are taking the incentive for all the students to excel.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
