Man who was held in contempt of Congress to protect Obama says he did not have to do it?

Washington Post:
Obama’s attorney general rebukes Trump: ‘I had a president I did not have to protect’

Eric Holder, who served in the Obama administration, appeared on “Real Time With Bill Maher” and was asked about the revelation that dozens of Trump aides still lack permanent security clearance.
Holder was probably one of the worst Attorney Generals in history.  The main thing he was better at than John Mitchell is covering up for the scandals of President Obama.  Scandals like Fast and Furious where the US watched gun runners sell weapons to narco-terrorists is just one example.  He also covered up the Democrats' targeting of Tea Pary groups by the IRS, and he still acts like that was an OK thing to do.  He was held in contempt of Congress in one of his blatant cover-up efforts.

Granted his job was easier because the media also helped cover up Obama scandals and still acts like it has a short-term memory problem when it comes to Obama whose screw-ups including withdrawing troops from Iraq that led to genocides and overthrow of the Libyan regime that is still leading to ramifications like the return of the slave trade, a migrant crisis in Europe and the North Korean nuclear program that they will not give up because they saw what happened to Quadaffi after he gave up his nukes and Obama turned on him.

Holder and the media must have blinders on when it comes to Obama's time in Washington.  That is the only reason I can think of as to why they do not rebuke Holder's ridiculous assertions.
