Anti-2nd Amendment groups continue to exploit kids from a school shooting

Crowds stream into nation’s capital to oppose gun violence

Today’s demonstration in Washington — with hundreds of thousands expected to attend — was organized by students who survived a mass shooting last month at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. Twenty speakers, all younger than 18, will go onstage starting at noon. Performers at the event will include Ariana Grande, Common, Jennifer Hudson and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
They are using these kids to cover up for the failure of law enforcement to do its job and keep the shooter from getting a gun or to protect them in a gun free zone.  They are also trying to cover up the role of Obama and Holder in keeping the killer off the background check list.  There were multiple failures by the FBI and even more by the local sheriff.

Their answer to the crime and to the failure of law enforcement is to disarm the innocent.   When law enforcement is this inept, it does not make much sense to take away the ability for self-defense.  As the school shooting in Maryland recently proves effective response by law enforcement can quickly take down the shooter.

When law enforcement is not there others in the school who have been trained to respond can thwart the mass murder attack.  But if you are relying on the FBI and the Broward County sheriff's office you may have to wait until the shooter's gun jams or he runs out of bullets.  These protesters want to make people even more dependent on those who failed in Florida.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
