US intelligence gives Iran a pass

NY Times:

U.S. Agencies See No Move by Iran to Build a Nuclear Bomb

The debate centers on Iran’s ultimate ambitions and despite reports of Iran speeding enrichment of uranium, U.S. analysts said there is no hard evidence of plans to build a bomb.
I don't buy this analysis.  These guys have been cowards ever since they screwed up on Iraq.  What they are really saying is that Iran has not confessed, and the hard evidence they have is circumstantial.  but it is circumstantial only to a degree since what Iran is doing is not consistent with a plan to generate electricity.
