Trump plans to crack down on 'sanctuary cities'

 Newsmax:

Former President Donald Trump announced in Wilmington, N.C., on Saturday that if elected, he would end all sanctuary cities in the United States.

"I'm announcing a new plan to end all sanctuary cities in North Carolina and all across our country," Trump said while referring to Democrat challenger Kamala Harris as the "invasion president" if she's elected.

"As soon as I take office, we will immediately surge federal law enforcement to every city that is failing, which is a lot of them, to turn over criminal aliens," Trump said. "And we will hunt down, capture every single gang member, drug dealer, rapist, murderer, and migrant criminal that is being illegally harbored."

Sanctuary cities, he added, are primarily run by Democrats.

"We will send them home where they belong," he said. "I will ask Congress to pass a law outlawing sanctuary cities nationwide, and we will bring down the full weight of the federal government on any jurisdiction that refuses to cooperate with ICE."

Harris, meanwhile, "would be your country-destroying president," Trump claimed.

"[She] has allowed 21 million illegals to pour in from all over the world," he said.

"Literally at record levels, terrorists are pouring into our country… Kamala Harris will fly criminal migrants into every one of your cities and towns."
...

This would greatly reduce crime in the US which has accelerated under the Biden-Harris open borders policy.  As much as 75 percent of the crime in New York City is attributed to criminal illegal aliens.  The current policy of this Democrat administration is totally irresponsible and has become a threat to US citizens.
