Russian hacker arrested in Spain fears extradition to US
Daily Mail: Russian hacker accused of running vast cybercrime network feared he would be tortured or killed if extradited to the US Russian hacker Peter Levashov was arrested in Spain on a U.S. warrant. In court this week, he claimed he used to work for Vladimir Putin and feared he would be killed if extradited to the U.S. I do not think the US has the death penalty for hackers. Perhaps he fears what Putin may do to him if he talks to US officials.
