Robot guards the border with North Korea

Daily Mail:

Who goes there? Samsung reveals robot sentry keeping an eye on North Korea

The machine-gun wielding robots, built by Samsung, have heat and motion detectors to identify potential targets more than 2 miles away in the Demilitarised Zone. The SGR-1 also wields a 5.5mm machine gun - although needs a human operator to give it the go ahead to fire.
This looks like a potential force multiplier that could have several applications for guarding the perimeter of an outpost or a hostile border.  If it works as well as the Samsung products I currently own it is probably very dependable.  I suspect it could be programmed for automatic fire under certain circumstances.
