ISIL threatens attack in New York

Washington Times:
An Islamic State terrorist bluntly told a VICE News journalist that his group is going to strike New York City any day now and that his radicalized “brothers” are mobilizing at this very moment.

On the video, Farah Shirdon — also called Abu Usamah Somali — said: “[We] will make some attacks in New York soon,” VICE News reported. “A lot of brothers there are mobilizing right now. … Mobilizing for a brilliant attack, my friend.”

Mr. Shirdon is a Canadian citizen who went to Iraq to fight with the Islamic State. In a different video that was released previously, he is seen burning his passport and vowing to wreak havoc on the United States and on Canada, The Blaze reported.

Mr. Shirdon also had a message for President Obama: “I hope Barack Obama listens to this message. I swear you infidel, I swear to almighty Allah, we will fight you until the end.”

This sounds like a demonstration attack in New York as a response to the fight in Iraq and Syria.  It would be strategically meaningless even if it is a mass murder event.  It would increase support for attack and destroying these religious bigots.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
