For all the fears that curbing carbon emissions will put the brakes on economic growth, it might actually enhance it.

Let's see.  Spain nearly bankrupted itself by pushing alternative energy.  Even Germany as rich as it is has made itself less competitive and harmed its economy with its Big Green push and in this country, Obama wasted billions on green projects that were costly failures.  The fact is that current alternative energy is less efficient and more costly.  It has not created the jobs predicted by its proponents.  The suggestion that there are benefits to it is a liberal's fantasy attempting to justify their agenda.
