Fighting enemy propaganda with propaganda

NY Times:

Digital War Takes Shape on Websites Over ISIS

A government team’s striking video and other postings are being disseminated through Twitter and Facebook to counter ISIS’s skillful online campaigns.
I have my doubts about the effectiveness of the counter propaganda videos.  We should be doing more to discover who is looking at the enemy propaganda in order to determine whether they should be investigated for material support of terrorist.  Alternatively, we should also be doing more to actively shut down enemy websites.  We should be engaged in cyber attacks against the enemy propaganda arm.  We should treat these sites and the people who watch it like we treat child pornography.
