UK journalist confess bias against Israel

Ynet:

The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) of Britain and Ireland decided during its annual meeting in Birmingham on Friday to boycott Israeli products in protest of the Second Lebanon War and “Israeli aggression in Gaza.”

The resolution, which passed by a vote of 66 to 54, called for a boycott of Israeli goods “similar to those boycotts in the struggles against apartheid South Africa led by trade unions and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) to demand sanctions be imposed on Israel by the British government and the United Nations."

This appears to be a pretty strong confession of bias against Israel. It appears that many in the UK media have chosen to side with the Muslim death cults in the Middle East instead of democracy and the rule of law. They are putting their sympathy on the side that takes hostages, including some of their own members, and would impose a Muslim apartheid regime on the world if they had the opportunity.

Meanwhile in Gaza elements of that apartheid mentality were evident in the bombing of a Christian bookstore. And, just to underscore how committed elements in the Palestinian community are to the free flow of information they also bombed two internet cafes. That is the side the UK media has sided with. They should be ashamed.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
