Don Imus v. The Preachers of Hate

No not Jackson and Sharpton, they are just opportunist demagogue although John Fund makes a good point about their egregious conduct in exploiting the Duke rape case which makes Sharpton 0 for 2 in phony rape cases. I am talking about the different treatment given some real preachers of hate who are religious bigots.

Imus may be many things but he is not a bigot. He does not hate blacks or more particularly the women on the Rutgers' basketball team. He was trying to be funny at their expense and he is having to pay a very high price for the "botched" joke.

The real preachers of hate are the religious bigots who use their position to promote terrorist acts against all non Muslims and all Muslims to do not accept their weird beliefs.

These are the guys that PBS is going to bat for in the Frank Gaffney film Islam vs. Islamist, Voices from the Muslim Center. PBS is suppressing the film on the fight of moderate Muslims have in dealing with the the spokesmen for Islamic terror. PBS appears to think that the guys who want everyone who disagrees with them to be killed and can't wait for God to do it, need more context given about their hateful remarks.

It is hard to see why this should be considered an anti Muslim film since the heroes are the descent Muslims who are standing up to the guys who want to kill us. These people should be celebrated. Just what is the context that justifies the genocide that is being promoted by the Islamist religious bigots.
