The Renewable Fuel Standard may be about to go on steroids
Ethanol is a poor substitute for fossil fuels. It is a disaster for small engines from chainsaws to lawnmowers. It does not benefit autos that are required to use it. The corn farmers appear to be the only real beneficiary. The requirement for blending it with gas should be ended.
