Trump understands why people are upset about NFL protests based on the 'hands up, don't shoot' lie

Their protests are having the opposite of their intended effect on much of the country. It is also self-destructive as people quit attending the games and quit watching it on TV. One of the NFL's problems is that most of its leaders are out of touch liberal Democrats in New York who have no concept of how these protests are turning off their fan base.
They have never really confronted head-on the lies that motivated the players to act this way. Instead, they are pandering to their wrong-headed protests by shelling out millions for "social justice" crap. Social justice has become a buzzword for liberal pandering to the grievance industry. It is a sop to those who want to feel good about their political prejudices.
The fact is "justice" is a word that needs no modifier in front of it. By adding one they demean the concept of justice.
I hate seeing anyone get conned and the NFL players who are protesting based on the Ferguson lie have been conned by the racial grievance industry. The effect of their protest is to disrespect the country and those who protect them and the rest of us. Every time I see it I get angry.
