Texas company discovers massive light oil field off Alaskan coast

Dallas-based Caelus Energy Alaska LLC announced a find of 6billion barrels of light oil on its state leases in the Arctic Ocean waters of Smith Bay about 450 miles northwest of Fairbanks.
This looks like another blow to the "peak oil" theory.  There could be a challenge in recovering it, but it is probably doable and could use some of the current resources in the area.
