Republican Senators who do not oppose Obama's court nomination are in political peril

Reactions from conservative activist groups ranged from disappointment to overt threats after the Kansas Republican said he supported a hearing on Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.
The polling on this issue is misleading.  The passion is on the side of the opponents who see liberals on the court as a threat to liberties.
