Hitchens wants to stage a rally outside the Danish embassy to show support for our friends in their time of need -- something the mainstream press has yet failed to do. That's why CQ is also offering a vocabulary lesson today, or at least a re-run of a lesson that first appeared in August 2004 and got some attention yesterday at The Corner. That's when we discovered the delightful German word sitzpinkler:
Apparently, the Germans have a word for men who can't stand up for themselves, both literally and figuratively. It's 'sitzpinkler', which means both one who sits when urinating and wimp.Try using these new words in a sentence, such as: "The American media consists of sitzpinklers who cannot summon the sammenhold to publish the Prophet cartoons in defense of the free speech they espouse."
