Liberal hostility toward whites could push Trump voters to polls

NY Times:

More White Voters Than People Think

One of the biggest reasons Donald J. Trump is considered to be a long shot to win the presidency is the diversity of the country. But new data suggests he could win without gains among nonwhite voters.
When they say "People Think" they are really talking about Democrats and liberals in the media.  There has been a subtle and in some cases not so subtle bias against whites in recent years  from many Democrats and from the media.  That bias has apparently animated many of the Trump supporters who feel that they have been screwed by liberalism.  Trump has certainly exploited this anger and in the case of the judge in the Trump U case, made some impolitic remarks that have cost him within the GOP.

It has been interesting to see those who praised Sonya Sotomayer when she said:
Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences, our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging.
If Trump had only quoted her, instead of talking like a redneck he probably would not have had the same fallout from his intemperate remarks.

  1. Very interesting observation in this story. One that I agree with.
