Carson is probably closer to voters' opinion on Syrian refugees than Obama or Clinton

Daily Mail:

Fox News Sunday
Dr. Ben Carson (R), Presidential candidate, says bringing Syrian refugees to the United States is "a suspension of intellect." Do you agree? For the full interview, tune into the Fox News Channel at 2pm & 6pm EST.Dr. Ben Carson gives a lesson on the human brain's 'big frontal lobes' saying allowing Syrian refugees into the United States requires a 'suspension of intellect'

Neurosurgeon-turned-presidential candidate Ben Carson thinks those big frontal lobes that humans possess can come in handy - especially when it comes to making good decisions about Syrians.
From a layman's perspective too, it looks like a crazy idea to import people in mass that probably includes terrorist.  The more sane approach is to proved refugee services in the region.  Christians who are being subjected to genocide by ISIL should get a priority and nay Muslims who come must renounce radical Islam.

The administration has this strange idea that Muslims will think that a war against radical Islam will be interpreted as a war against all Muslims.  That assumes a pretty low level of cognitive thought by Muslims who are often victims of the same mass murder attacks.

It should be noted that Carson is not the only Republican candidate who wants to stop the refugees.  Ted Cruz and others have voiced that opinion.
