The Democrats idiotic immigration policy

The debate over illegal immigration and its strain on American resources has reached a boiling point, with Democrats clinging to positions that clash with the priorities of most Americans. A heated exchange on Thursday night between Republican strategist Scott Jennings and former Democratic South Carolina State Rep. Bakari Sellars laid bare the disconnect.

While the majority of Americans demand tighter borders and responsible use of public funds, some Democrats seem determined to defend policies that prioritize illegal immigrants over citizens. The clash centered on President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” a legislative push to reform Medicaid and block its use by illegal immigrants, sparking a revealing showdown.

Jennings didn’t let up, repeatedly asking, “Are you for it or not?” Sellars, cornered, tried to deflect: “Can I start my logic train?” But Jennings kept the pressure on, demanding clarity. Sellars finally admitted, “My logic train starts with the fact that I don‘t want to — I don‘t want to kick 11 million people off of Medicaid —” before Jennings cut in again, sharpening the question: “Do you want illegal aliens on or not?” Sellars’ response was unambiguous: “Do I want undocumented citizens to have health care? The answer is yes.” The admission crystallized the divide—Democrats like Sellars openly advocate for extending taxpayer-funded benefits to those who break immigration laws.

Medicare is designed to help US citizens who can't afford healthcare.  It should never be for people who entered the country illegally.  That would only lead to more illegals, and real taxpayers have to subsidize their illegal entry into the country.  The Democrats' position wants to subsidize illegal immigrants so they can get them to vote as Democrats. It is a scam to rig elections.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
