Media types who want to see Trump killed?
Former FBI Director James Comey is facing backlash after seemingly threatening President Donald Trump in a social media post.
Comey, who was fired by the president in his first term after emerging as a key player in the bogus Russian collusion hoax, posted a formation of beach shells arranged with the numbers, “86, 47.”
As a slang term, “86” means to get rid of or kill something or somebody, oftentimes abruptly. The term’s origin is unclear, though it likely originated in the United States sometime in the 1930’s and is seldom used today.
The “47” refers to President Trump, who is currently serving as the 47th President of the United States. The post has led prominent conservatives to call for a formal investigation, many of whom have argued that Comey was calling for President Trump to be assassinated.
“Just James Comey causally calling for my dad to be murdered,” the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., wrote in an X post. “This is who the Dem-Media worships. Demented!!!!”
...
In the past, there have been presidents that I was unhappy with, but I never wanted them killed. The Democrats' irrational hatred of Trump is something they are going to have to get over with if they are to build back the support of American voters. Democrats are currently polling in the 20s, and this is probably one of the reasons why they are so unpopular with voters.
Trump has been a vastly superior president than Biden has been. The Democrats also lost credibility by attempting to ignore Biden's dementia.
