Democrats bogus attacks on wife of Clarence Thomas

The recent wave of media and Democratic criticism of the wife of Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas for her pro-Trump activism is getting pushback from supporters who claim it’s a racially tinged bid to kick the judge off 2020 election cases.

In several recent news stories, Ginni Thomas has been accused of being too politically active in 2020 audit calls, especially for a justice’s wife.

This week, emails from her to former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows urging the White House to investigate reports that the 2020 election was stolen from the president were leaked to the media, building heat under her and Thomas.

Democrats and the media have used the stories and new leaks to attack both Ginni and Clarence Thomas, even prompting one liberal House Democrat to demand that Thomas be impeached.

On CBS today, journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa cast the messages between Ginni Thomas and Meadows as an ethics scandal that has entangled her husband.

“This is an unprecedented entanglement between a spouse close to the judicial branch and a White House chief of staff. We're in uncharted territory with a lot of this reporting. We're going to have to see where it goes and pull the thread even more,” said Costa.

Woodward added, “What Ginni Thomas has done here with Mark Meadows, they've just turned up the heat and division in the country in a way that leads us to, let's be direct about it, the political catastrophe we are living through.”

Allies of both are being cautious in their defense, but Carrie Severino, president of the Judicial Crisis Network and former clerk for Justice Thomas, said she’s seen this play before and said the goal is to push Thomas from considering key conservative cases.

“The Left’s partisan crusade to force Justice Thomas off of cases is not based on real recusal standards but on politics,” she said in a statement provided to Secrets.

“Liberals don’t like the fact that he is black and won’t follow their agenda, so they invent flimsy controversies to discredit him for thinking for himself,” she added.

Liberal attacks have been coming since he was nominated for the Court.  They just hate black conservatives who think for themselves.  Thomas is one of the best justices on the court.  He is intelligent and fair.  His wife did not do anything illegal or unethical.  

There were millions of Trump supporters who thought the 2020 election was not straight up.  What we do know about the 2020 election is that the media and big tech rigged the outcome by censoring negative information about Biden that polls show would have swayed the outcome. There may have been other shenanigans that the left does not want to see investigated.

What we are seeing from the left now is an attempt to rig the outcome of a Supreme court case.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare
