Police under assault by Democrats and criminals

There’s also too much interference by politicians for the police to do an effective job. And there’s too little support by Democratic politicians of the police forces that keep their cities from blowing up.

There’s a clear disconnect between what Biden was saying about the heroism of police and the fact that he and other politicians have abandoned them.

Biden said nothing about the way that Floyd’s murder while in police custody was used by politicians and activists — including radical revolutionaries — to portray all police as being guilty of racism and “targeting” black people for death. The white-hot anti-police rhetoric by Black Lives Matter has directly led to the deaths of several police officers — gunned down for the simple reason that they wore blue.

Most recently, a Houston, Texas, deputy constable working a “police-related extra job” was shot and killed while two other constables were wounded in what authorities say was an “ambush” shooting.

... Biden bemoaning the loss of police officers in the line of duty is akin to an arsonist complaining about the rash of fires lately.

Police officers in Portland and Seattle have been under assault by leftists and criminals as the number of police shrinks under the defund movement sparked by a ridiculous response to the Goerge Floyd events.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
